FAQ Section: Your Questions and Answers

The FAQ section is used to display common questions and answers in a clear, expandable format.

It helps visitors find reassurance, solve doubts, and understand important details without needing to leave the page or contact support first.

Quick Editor Tips

Fill these first: Heading, FAQ Items, optional Section Button.

  • Use real questions your visitors are likely to ask.
  • Keep answers helpful and direct.
  • Use Website Settings if you want one shared FAQ reused across multiple places.
  • Use Local if the page needs custom questions.

What the FAQ Section is For

This section is designed to reduce hesitation and answer the questions people often ask before they act.

You can use it to:

  • explain shipping, returns, or delivery details,
  • clarify how a service or product works,
  • answer common objections or concerns,
  • reassure visitors before purchase or contact.

How the FAQ Section Behaves

Like the CTA global section, FAQ can work with different content sources.

  • Local – use questions entered directly in this section.
  • Website Settings – pull shared FAQ content from Website Settings.

Note: In Website Settings itself, you are editing the shared source version of the FAQ section, so the main focus there is building the reusable content.

The FAQ Section Fields

  • Data Source – controls whether the FAQ is local or shared from Website Settings.
  • Kicker Text – a small line above the heading.
  • Section Heading – the main title of the FAQ block.
  • Section Subheading – a short supporting line.
  • Section Description – a rich text intro for the FAQ block.
  • FAQ Items – the actual questions and answers.
  • Call to Action – an optional button after the FAQ list.

FAQ Items

Each FAQ item includes:

  • Question
  • Answer

The section outputs these in an expandable question-and-answer style, so the wording should feel natural and helpful.

Quick tip: Write questions exactly how a visitor might ask them. That usually feels more natural and useful than formal wording.

What to Write in FAQ: A Beginner Recipe

  • Kicker: Questions Answered
  • Heading: Frequently Asked Questions
  • Description: Everything you may want to know before getting started.
  • Question: How long does delivery take?
  • Answer: Most orders arrive within 2 to 5 business days depending on location.
  • Question: Can I return the product if it does not fit?
  • Answer: Yes, returns are available within the stated return period as long as the item meets the return conditions.

Final Note

A good FAQ section reduces friction. If it answers real concerns in plain language, it can quietly improve trust and conversion without looking pushy.
